These terms cover accommodation booked through us for DnB Allstars Thailand 2027 in Phuket, 22 to 24 January 2027. Please read them before you pay. The cancellation terms in clause 6 and your statutory rights in clause 16 are the ones to pay closest attention to.
1. About these terms and who we are
We are DNBA Entertainment Ltd ("DnB Allstars", "we", "us"), company number 11593420, registered at 5-9 Headstone Road, Harrow, England, HA1 1PD. We arrange accommodation for the DnB Allstars Thailand 2027 festival (22 to 24 January 2027, Phuket). The accommodation itself is owned and run by independent local properties and operators. We select them with reasonable care and arrange your stay; we are not the owner of the property.
These terms apply to every accommodation booking made through us. Please read them before you pay. When you book you confirm you have read, understood and agreed to them, and the checkout will ask you to confirm this.
2. Prices and what is included
Prices for your stay are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). A 5% fee is added and itemised at checkout, and that total is what you pay us online. One thing is charged separately and is shown to you before you pay:
- a refundable security deposit, paid in cash to the property on arrival (see clause 9), usually in Thai Baht.
The festival ticket is a separate purchase from a separate provider and is not part of your accommodation booking or its price.
3. Making a booking
Your booking is for the property and dates shown at checkout, for the lead booker and their group up to the maximum number of guests stated for that property. The lead booker must be 18 or over, makes the booking for everyone in the group, is responsible for them, and confirms that everyone has read these terms.
For most properties your booking is confirmed once we have received your payment. Some properties are booked on request (see clause 4).
4. Bookings on request
Some properties are offered on request rather than instant confirmation. When you book one of these you are asking us to reserve it, not completing a booking. We securely save your card but do not charge it. You have no confirmed booking and no money is taken unless and until we confirm the property with the operator and tell you so. If we cannot confirm it, the request lapses and you are never charged. Once we confirm and your payment is taken, the rest of these terms apply in full.
5. Paying
You pay the full price for your stay at checkout, in pounds sterling (GBP). Your booking is confirmed once we have received your payment.
6. Changing or cancelling your booking
Festival-week accommodation is booked for fixed dates that we cannot resell, so all bookings are final and non-refundable. The price is not refunded if you cancel, change your mind, arrive late, leave early or do not turn up.
Bookings cannot be transferred to another person or moved to different dates. We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance to cover cancellation, illness, delays and your belongings. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights (see clause 16).
7. If we have to change or cancel your booking
If something outside our reasonable control (see clause 13) means we cannot provide the accommodation you booked, or we have to change it significantly, we will offer you a materially comparable alternative of the same standard or better, or, if we genuinely cannot, a full refund of the sums you have paid for the accommodation. That refund or alternative is what you are entitled to in those circumstances; we are not responsible for other costs you incur, such as travel, which is why we recommend travel insurance. A genuinely comparable alternative is not a reason for a refund.
8. Check in, check out and occupancy
Check in and check out times are confirmed before arrival. Only the lead booker and their group may stay, and the maximum number of guests for the property must not be exceeded. Parties and events at the property are not allowed unless we agree in writing.
9. Security deposit and damage
A refundable security deposit is collected, assessed and returned by the property operator, in cash on arrival, usually in Thai Baht. The amount depends on the property and is shown to you before you pay. It is returned in full at check out provided there is no damage and nothing is missing. The cost of any damage, breakage or missing items is deducted from it. You remain responsible for any costs above the deposit amount, and by booking you authorise us and the property to recover those costs.
10. Utilities, water and power
Electricity and water are included in your price. Water runs on a local supply rather than mains, so please use it sensibly. The air conditioning cools rooms quickly, so please switch it off when you leave your room for a while. Occasional power cuts can happen in the area and are outside our control, so we cannot offer compensation for them.
11. Pools and shared areas
Where a property has a pool or shared outdoor areas, you use them at your own risk and there is no lifeguard. Please look after anyone in your group who cannot swim, and do not use the pool while heavily intoxicated. Treat the pool and shared spaces with respect and keep them clean for everyone.
12. Your responsibilities, conduct and our liability
You are responsible for your own belongings. Please treat the property, its contents, its staff and its neighbours with respect, keep noise reasonable late at night, and follow house guidelines and reasonable instructions from on-site staff. The lead booker is responsible, together with the group, for any damage or charges the group causes.
If a guest behaves dangerously, or causes serious or repeated damage or disturbance, the property may require them to leave. In that case we will refund only the value of any nights not yet used, less any costs caused; we do not refund the part of the stay already taken or amounts needed to cover damage.
We arrange the accommodation with reasonable care and skill. Except for the things we cannot exclude by law (see below), our total liability to you for a booking is limited to the sums you have paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.
13. Events outside our control
We are not liable for failure to provide the accommodation, or for changes to it, caused by events outside our reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disaster, fire, flood, power or water failure, illness outbreaks, government action or civil disruption. Where such an event means we cannot provide the accommodation at all, clause 7 (refund or comparable alternative) applies.
14. Your information
We collect the personal information you give us when you book (your name, contact details, the size of your group and, through our payment provider, your payment information) to take and manage your booking and to contact you about it. We handle it in line with our privacy notice, which we show you before you pay.
To provide your stay we share the booking details you give us with the property operator in Thailand. We do not store your card details ourselves; payments are handled securely by Stripe, our payment provider. The lead booker confirms they have the authority of everyone in the group to give us their details.
15. If something goes wrong
If there is a problem during your stay, please tell the on-site staff straight away so they can put it right, and contact us at thailand@dnballstars.com. If a problem cannot be sorted at the time, please put it to us in writing within 14 days of your check out date so we can look into it.
16. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other consumer-protection law, including your right to services carried out with reasonable care and skill. Because your booking is for accommodation on specific dates, the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
17. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or your booking, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you and we both submit to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your home nation, and nothing in these terms removes any mandatory protection available to you under the law of the country where you live.
18. Acceptance
At checkout you confirm you have read and agreed to these terms, and the most important ones (the cancellation terms and the cash security deposit) are shown to you prominently before you pay. On arrival each guest may be asked to sign confirming they have read and agreed to these terms and any property house guidelines.
